CONTEXTUAL RESEARCH
What was useful?
I believe that my specialist studies was
very useful because I got to learn a lot of
things from different people about how
rock music has changed over the years.
This helped me a lot for my research
because I got to know what rock music
means to a few people and that was very
useful because by knowing this I was
able to create a story for my short film.
CASE STUDIES
What was useful?
All my case studies were useful because they
gave me an understanding of the genre my
short film will have and what I have to
include to let my audience understand that
my short film is a coming of age film.
AUDIENCE RESEARCH
What was useful?
Doing a focus group was very useful because it
helped me understand what my audience wants
to see and what they think about my idea.
PRODUCTION RESEARCH
What was useful?
Production research was useful because it helped
me organise the equipment I will be using and also
it helped me deciding what props I will be using.
Furthermore, doing this helped me envision my
film.
WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?
For the next step I decided to start doing my
story board so after the Easter holidays I can
start filming.

  • 1. CONTEXTUAL RESEARCH What was useful?
