 Objective of this project is to develop the application software which runs in Avaya VOIP phone.

 Following were the feature developed.
 Mute Alert
 The application has three different layers like application, manager, and the Adaptor. Application and manager
communicates with the messages which are the C++ objects. Managers determine which type of adaptor is to be
invoked. Adaptors are platform dependent. Here in each manager has the message queue which is responsible
for handling the different category of message and processes them accordingly by sending them to the
application layer. Adaptors are the one which communicates with the outside world. In every manager,there are
message listener thread is running. Each message listener listens to the different category of message.These
categories of messages are declared at the beginning of message listener thread.

Project Description:
 The service packs of the main release are used to provide maintenance support of the dot release.In SP’s, few
features were delivered. But it is mainly used to provide fixes for the existing defects of the dot release. Service
Pack also provides the performance improvement as compared to dot release.
 Following are the features delivered in Service Pack 1 along with fixes for the dot release.
 Exchange Contact and Exchange Calendar.
 Presence feature-It indicates if user is available, busy, on a call or idle state.
