The e-waste recycling process involves several steps: 1. Collection, aggregation, classification and dismantling of e-waste. Batteries, CRTs and monitors are sent to specialized recyclers. 2. The dismantled parts are then size reduced, granulated, and separated into ferrous metals, non-ferrous mixed metals, and non-metals using various machines like cutter mills, magnetic separators, granulators, and fraction separators. 3. The separated materials are then baled and sent to authorized recyclers, with precious metals recovered through aqua regia method and various types of plastics sent to plastic recyclers.
