The document provides information about a student project group called Anchor Visuals. The 6 member group is assigned a project to create a 1-3 minute video called "I Am A Camera". The video will explore the idea of someone's life with a camera versus without. The group develops a storyboard and synopsis around two characters, one who experiences life in color with a camera, and one in black and white without. Research is done to inspire the concept. Production stills and paperwork around location filming, consent, and copyright are also included.

Presenter: Sara Perry, director of studies, digital heritage, University of York.
This interactive session offers an introduction to the application of a variety of simple digital media technologies in building intellectual independence, critical thinking, professional networks and confidence amongst their users. Such technologies offer not only meaningful creative opportunities, but also mechanisms by which the very nature of academic and professional fields of practice can be prodded, extended and perhaps even fundamentally reconfigured.
Alongside considering their problematic implications (including their relationship to free labour, neoliberalism and personal security), I demonstrate here how they promise both to narrow the gap between theory and practice, and simultaneously empower emerging professionals.
Please bring your laptop, smartphone or tablet, and come ready to invent, experiment, discuss your experiences and share your questions and concerns about digital media in the educational environment.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to create an infographic of 5 things that I am currently doing in order to stay positive, happy and productive!

This is the Alternative Media reflection based on my final project 'SOMETHING IN THE BODY' which was inspired by my experimental pieces to do with the themes of Time, Body and Space
For this module we researched into the themes of 'Time', 'Body' and 'Space' and then had to create a final piece based on ideas that we had found and discussed through group sessions or one on one tutorials.
This is the production log created individually for the third year media production module called 'Advanced MultiMedia'. We had to create an online portfolio for a creative type (I chose Photographer).
Advanced Media Practice Production LogBrandon Boyd
This was a group assignment where we were given a brief and had to create a short video for their website along with short videos which would be uploaded to their social media accounts!
For this assignment, we had to research into a potential job career for the future and do an in depth study on the chosen job.
I chose 'Social media marketing & Content creation'
Write a ‘profile’ story on a person of your choice, suitable for a magazine publication. Include an appropriate photo you have taken (you will not be marked on the photo itself).
The feature could focus on an interesting aspect, experience or moment of their life.

Face to Face to FacebookSOCT 10111Reflection (Formative Assessment)For this piece of work we want you to select any one of the Key Readingsfrom the module’s Resource list and to produce a 500 word summary & response. That is, we want you to begin by writing a précis or ‘digest’ of the article or chapter’s main points (which should take up around the first 200 words of your Reflection) and then dedicate the remaining 300 wordsto providing an assessment or critique of those same arguments. You need to state what you agree and disagree with and, crucially, in both cases, why (NB it’s never enough to say that you simply agree with X or Y; in an academic review, one should always appeal either to reason or toestablished evidence, or both). NB some of the Key Readings lend themselves more easily to this task than others (i.e. they are a bit more controversial), so it is worth looking around to find one that you can really get your ‘teeth into’. Finally, we would like you to write this Reflection as something to be read by someone junior to yourself – such as a younger sibling (aged circa 15 or 16)
Sound capture, logging and audio track management is an essential part of professional practice for sound designers, and you will need to provide evidence of the following:
(i) A plan or short script, that describes place, action and development, and identifies the sounds that need to found – either by field recording or through an online archive or data base. Note, a maximum of 50% found sound can be used.
(ii) A screenshot of the pre-mix multi-track timeline (Audition) that shows a sense of sound management and structure. The finished soundscape will be played to the class on ...., with a five slide PPT presentation that shows evidence of development and management (relating to (i) and (ii) points above).

Improving Workplace Safety Performance in Malaysian SMEs: The Role of Safety ...AJHSSR Journal
ABSTRACT: In the Malaysian context, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) experience a significant
burden of workplace accidents. A consensus among scholars attributes a substantial portion of these incidents to
human factors, particularly unsafe behaviors. This study, conducted in Malaysia's northern region, specifically
targeted Safety and Health/Human Resource professionals within the manufacturing sector of SMEs. We
gathered a robust dataset comprising 107 responses through a meticulously designed self-administered
questionnaire. Employing advanced partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques
with SmartPLS 3.2.9, we rigorously analyzed the data to scrutinize the intricate relationship between safety
behavior and safety performance. The research findings unequivocally underscore the palpable and
consequential impact of safety behavior variables, namely safety compliance and safety participation, on
improving safety performance indicators such as accidents, injuries, and property damages. These results
strongly validate research hypotheses. Consequently, this study highlights the pivotal significance of cultivating
safety behavior among employees, particularly in resource-constrained SME settings, as an essential step toward
enhancing workplace safety performance.

6. RESEARCH
Research for this project began by looking on YouTube for some video
inspirations. It turns out that one of my friends is a videographer and is
interested in media and filming herself so I showed my group
something that she had worked on and it sparked the idea of a black
and white vs colour theme for the video. We looked in some books in
the library and had some inspiration from horror films with the aspect
or black and white vs colour a constant trend or seen part of each of
the movies and we decided to introduce a camera within the scene as
well and come up with an idea relating to that, in order to bring two
characters together as well as overcoming ideas such as stereotyping,
gender, representation and symbolisms within the project.

7. STORYBOARD
‘ A storyboard is the blueprint for a film…it provides a list of all the information you need to
include throughout the film including sound, music, images and the effect that these have
when juxtaposed with one another…In drawing the storyboard you do not necessarily need
to be a good draughtsman; it is enough to show the image clearly and precisely to the
extent that you could give the storyboards to someone else and they could go ahead and
make your film’ (Evans, 2006: 138).
Please download the Storyboard jpeg from NOW (under media resources) and print it.
Draw your Storyboard & Scan or photograph it to insert here.
Alternatively, you may use photographs to illustrate your Storyboard instead of sketching it.
8. PRODUCTION STILLS
Publicity stills from productions are a useful way of ‘advertising’ your work. It is always recommended that
you make a record of your own work-in-progress throughout a media project. If you plan to disseminate
your work either as part of a blog, or to enter into a film festival, it is a good idea to capture a selection of
publicity stills during production. Stacey Parks recommends, for example, that you capture images of the
cast reenacting key moments from the production, of the cast and crew at work behind the scenes, and also
yourselves producing (Parks, 2007: 59 – 60).
