whatI was aimingforand fortunatelyforme itran
smoothlysoI couldgetall my shotsdone intime,I
believethe reasonthatIgot my shotsdone intime
was due to the fact that I hadset myself more than
enoughtime togetthe shotsdone andcompleted.It
came to the pointwhere the time Ihadallocatedfor
my filmingwasmore thanenoughsince I
underestimatedhowlongfilmwouldtake due tofilmingpreviousprojects,sothatwasseenas a
benefit.Imanagedtogetall the shotswhichwere filmedinthe house done forthe firstdaywhich
meantI had alreadyshavedanotherdayof mytimingschedule,thisallowedme tobe veryflexible
withmynextshootat my father’shouse,sohere Iwas able totake mytime and notrush meaning
time pressure wasnotan issue howeverwhatwasan issue washow untidythe garage was.I
underestimatedhowmuchstuff wasinthe garage whichI saw as an issue.Itriedtotidyas much up
as I couldhoweverunfortunatelyinmycase there were numerousobjectswhichwere unmoveable
meaningIhad to finda wayhide themoutof the shot,so me and my friend(the actor) deviseda
planto filmincertainlocationsinthe garage inorder to show how bigthe garage was withthe little
space we actuallyhad thoughwe wouldnotbe able to tell If thiswaseffective ornotuntil the final
productIs released. Iknewthatthe garage wouldbe a problemtofilminbut I didunderestimate so
unfortunatelythismayimpactmyfilm.Thisisthe onlyissue Ihadregardingthe filminginthis
location,the restof it wentsmoothlyanditwasalso one of the quickestshootingsIhadeverdone
since the scene wasso short.
The other filmingshootonthe otherhanddidtake up to
multiple hoursjusttocomplete howeverwe didbelieve it
was more convenienttogetall the shots completedon
the day ratherthan givingeachotherlesstime forfilming
but more days,fortunatelyforuswe were able to
complete filmingall inone daywhichmeanpressure was
off for the nextday. There were multiplecomplications
we didrun intohowever,firstwaspreparingthe camera
readyfor shootingasthat didtake while justtogetready.
Anotherissue wassince Ihadn’tdone filmingforoverayear,I was unsure how togo about the
filmingprocessthereforemydirectingdidn’tstartoff as effective asIwashopingfor howeverthis
graduallyimprovedovertime andbythe endI was able to effectivelydirectactorsintocompleting a
scene ina single shoot.One issue whichIhadbefore filmingwasthatone of my mainactors decided
to quiton me a day before Iwas readyto filmwhichcausedissuesasIdidn’thave a backup
prepared,itwouldhave beenmore convenientif he mentionedthislaterbutfortunatelyone of my
friendswaswillingtohelpout.

Overall,the filmingdidgoquite wellinmyopinion.There were manyaspectsinwhichIwould
change,one example wouldbe myactorsmisbehavinghoweverthiswouldhave come nosurprise to
me since I was filmingwithfriendshoweverthisdidmake filmingmore enjoyableforme andmade
me more relaxed.
