Poster Production Diary

- 1. Production Diary 3 Filming Day 1 – Manshead School Date – 22/11/17 Scenes Shot – (RE-SHOOT) All shots within the roomwhere he relives the memories This day of filming consisted of re-filming all of the shots from the second shoot. Upon reviewing footage we decided that a re-film was necessary because wehad unwanted items within the frame and the photos around the roomdid not havea big enough effect as we did not have enough. Initially wehad to set up the scene, wedecided that making the walls black would have a better effect, giving a darker and deeper meaning, as well as being better shooting and lighting conditions as the black made the pictures stand out as well as working well with the desired light effect. So I had to hang up the black paper on the walls and then put all the pictures around the walls, creating the desired effect. We were then ready to shoot. FirstI had to set up the camera for the lighting conditions, bumping up the ISO and apertureto allow the light into the lens and give good depth of field. I then filmed the shots of Character 1 picking up the items that triggered the memories. We followed the shotlist and shots we filmed from the previous shootas this day was more about changing the sceneand unwanted items rather than the shots themselves.
- 2. In conclusion I think that this was a successfulday of filming, we secured the footage was wanted and the footage looked good. After reviewing the footage we are happy with the results, however, weshould have got a wider rangeof angles in order to highlight certain details, but to overcomethis, when editing we can crop in the footage.
