Production Design<br />Location:<br />Set Design Home scene - BedroomDream sequence – a secluded forest, preferably with a lot of trees and open space. Props- Cars for the driversLiving room - Essentials in a bedroom setting, like bed, TV, clock etc.Duvet and pillow.Most importantly a copy of the Saw movie playing.Nightmare setting – Chain of some sort to clasp the hands.Special fxSound effects – Incidental, unsettling music.Enhanced sound effects – drill noise, clanging chains, car engine etc. Voice over, representing villain. Transitions -Jump cuts to amplify his facial expressions.Use of fading in/out to signify change of action.Use of sound bridges, to heighten volume of dialogue or particular threatening sounds to create an unnerving effect.LightingBedroom – Bright light as naturally from the light bulb in the room.Isolated forest– Dim, darker lighting (natural) to create a dreary effect.Use of colourColours associated would be natural, for example, as expected of every day life – the colour of his clothes, the choices of living room furniture and such.The blood/bruising would be of a more exaggerated tone to outline the callousness of the reality. Other points of note(availability of the desired setting should be addressed as well as considering the night scene of the preferred housing area)
