The document summarizes the results of a case study session on transforming procurement from minimizing cost to maximizing value. 25 participants from chemical and consulting industries ranked 17 value drivers. The top 5 drivers were business integration, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, supplier innovation, and category management. This was consistent with previous survey results. Key findings were that the top 5 drivers are procurement foundations while the next 5 emerging drivers expand its scope. Participants found the topic interesting and wanted to stay involved in future steps.
