Priyanka Gandhi criticized Narendra Modi's remarks about the Congress party following an "RSVP model" of Rahul, Sonia, Vadra, and Priyanka. She questioned Modi's claims about the Gujarat development model and asked him to specify his plans for farmers, laborers, and women. Priyanka urged the people to question leaders about their development plans and issues rather than empty slogans. She asked people to vote based on the nation's interests, not personal interests, and support the Congress party which has always fought for national unity.

Raebareli: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, daughter of Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and sister of party Vice President
Rahul Gandhi launched yet another fierce attack on BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi with a
dig at Gujarat model and his recent RSVP remarks.
“You must be listening to the speeches of various political parties through TV and all. We hear words like ABCD, RSVP.. Leaders must
know they are not addressing any primary school kids but the people. The people have knowledge, wisdom and have a vision for their
nation which is well above our egos” lamented the Congress campaigner. At a rally recently, Modi had said that the Congress is faithful
to "an RSVP model - Rahul, Sonia, Vadra and Priyanka.
She then countered Modi’s much hyped Gujarat model and commented, “When you address people, tell them what exactly you are
going to do for their welfare and development of the nation. No leader has the knowledge that the people possess. People understand
everything. They also understand what your Gujarat model is. They also know how crores of rupees worth lands are being sold cheaply
to your friends. People also know about your clean politics and also identify who had stood by you yesterday and waving hands to the
crowd”.
“If you really want to empower the masses, tell them what specific plans you have in your ‘model’ for the welfare of farmers. Tell them
why the labour wages are very low under your ‘model’. You must tell people what you have done for the women” added Priyanka
Gandhi.
“Whether it is my party or other parties, when the leaders go to the people during election campaign, they must tell people what plans
they have for development and to solve people’s issues. The people must ask these questions to leaders. You must be vigilant as you
have the knowledge and power” she observed and urged, “ If you want to strengthen our nation, support the correct and progressive
ideology”.
“When you go to polling booths on 30th (April), never vote for your constituency, your children or your family, but for our nation. You
support Congress which always fought to maintain the unity and integrity of our country. I am very confident that you will ensure Sonia
Ji’s victory with huge margin and will strengthen India” concluded Priyanka Gandhi.

2. This is election time and Sonia (Gandhi) Ji has sent me on her behalf. She has been your Member of Parliament for the past ten years
and she has done for your development. My family – From Indira Gandhi, Firoz Gandhi to Sonia Gandhi– have been maintaining a good
family relationship with Raebareli. Sonia Gandhi has a special love, affection and is committed to do more your welfare.
Due to her initiative, several roads are built here, electric polls are erected, new institutes are opened, established rail coach and wheel
factory. You also have AIIMS like hospitals here. The people got benefits from these. She is determined to do more here. Development is
not complete by just opening a factory. People benefit by the economic development takes place near to such factories like you get
increased prices for the lands, new small shops and small industries will be opened.
Development is a continuous process and should never stop. If you strengthen the hands of Sonia Gandhi, you will witness more and
more development here. We need more jobs, roads and other facilities. Without your support Sonia Ji cannot accomplish these tasks.
So, I appeal to all of you to continue to support her and ensure her victory this time too.
