SOME SUGGESTION
The survey was very good. It was challenging but overall its good experience. It teaches us many things
which are very helpful in the future like how to conduct market research, how to meet with people and how
to tackle the difficult situations. But there are some suggestions from me which will make this survey more
easily in the future.
1. Internet pack or tab is 2G enabled sometime it lost network. It create problem so the reason behind I
lost my lots of time.
2. Tab is frozen or hanged to many time and also please fix the bugs of public plus application.
3. Randomly sampling list is not up to date.
4. As per our Indian constitution we have no right to ask question like who you vote, whom to cast the
vote in 2017.
5. The purpose of the survey was not completely clear to the students such as what is the motive behind
this survey, when we ask them questions like to whom you cast the vote in the past 2012 lok sabha
election. They think that we are coming from particular political party.
6. Supervisors are not motivator they have no etiquette like how to talk with someone. They always
demotivate us.
7. There should be at least two person in every booth that mean it is easy to complete the task in
efficient way
8. The question like what to do for HINDU community is really irrelevant.

PROBLEM FACED DURING SURVEY
In every research problem is the part of the research or survey. In a every day, every hour every minute or
even every second we face and resolve it. Same as in our survey I am facing to many problem some time I
resolve it easily and some time it took some time because they are gigantic.
 Distance for village is very far from main road.
 Lack of training and even no DEMOSTRATION related to survey.
 People are hesitate to give answer related to political question they always say you are MBA
STUDENT AND YOU EVEN DON’T KNOW THIS TYPE OF QUESTION IS NOT ASKED TO
BE ANYONE as per our Indian constitution.
 People are afraid to me they always think I am govt. employer.
 Language barriers like I am unable to read and write Punajbi but VSKM consulting providing
Punajbi language tablet.
 People leave their village such as seasonal migration people.
 Most people migrated to somewhere else for job.
 Some of the address is wrong.
 People are hesitate to give their own phone number
 Some people don’t have any phone or mobile.
 Some people died.
 Randomly list provided by the company is irrelevant.
 Addressees are wrong.
 Houses number written in list is wrong.
 Difficulty to define what is motive behind in this research because VSKM consulting said it’s a govt.
project but the govt. never asked the question like whom you cast the vote.
 In some place there is no transport service I always took lift from someone.
 Unnecessary delay to complete survey such as you can’t do the two survey within 15 minutes.
 No water facility in village.
Page | 9
OVSERVATION
During the survey I observe too many things. I meet different kind of lovely people. It helps me to
observe what is real Punjab, different way to talk with people. It helps me to understand what my object for
the society is. During survey I observed too many things in five day some of them are positive and some of
negative.
 Our govt. special Punjab govt. is not doing good lots of people are illiterate because they have no
school, college. Punjab govt. is just focusing on urban area of Punjab but they are not focusing on
rural area
 There are very few source of income
 The main source of income is primary sector such as agricultural
 Water facility is not so good.
 People are busy in their work when I reached to someone house they always say come in the
afternoon.
 People are very politely to me in every they always offer me tea, butter milk or lunch.
 Some people are given all the answer of my question but some are not they stop when I ask the
question related to politics.
 Some persons got angry when they come to know that this survey is about government, because they
are very much disappoint with working of the government.
 Most people are Sikh religion so when I asked the question like what to do more for Hindu
community they always say one answer make shelter for cow.
 Roads are not raw. Everywhere in the road pothole.
 We also observed that people are not happy with the working of the ruling party, in the next election
they want change in the government.
 People standard of living is low.
 There is no hierarchy level in society
 No safety, no medical facility and hospital.
 Nearest hospital I around 25 to 40 km.
 Different people were different views regarding upcoming elections.
 Some high class people not open the door of the house due to the ego of the money and they do not
interact with us.

FINDING AND CONCLUSION
The village study enabled me in studying the various aspects of the village life. We came to know
various things knowing which perhaps were not possible without staying in the village among the rural
population. My stay helped me to understand the lives of the villager, their need and various dynamics
relating to it. The First-hand experience is how they sustain their livelihood, which kind of difficulties
they face for livelihood and other expenses of household. And we also saw the various development
plans running in the village and impact of it helped me to sharpen my understanding of these plans and
ground realities associated with them. It’s easy to stay outside the village and suggests various means for
the development of village but the real picture is quite different in the village. The village do have its bright
colour which is absent in urban areas, even in many developed cities of the country. The facts like
equality between different castes, female position in the house, unity among villagers etc. are among
some of the positive aspects of the village. Still there is sufficient scope of improvements in the
village related to the providing of livelihood opportunity to the villagers. We can say that providing
subsidies will not help but what the villagers actually needed is the information and knowledge about their
products, their value and their demand in the outside market, so that they could get appropriate return for
their hard work.
THINGS THEY NEED:
 Need of the school, college and hospital.
 Drainage facility.
 Street light need.
 Employment.
 Rehabitation centre for removing drugs
 Infrastructure facility.
 Electricity and clean water facility

  • 15. Page | 7 SOME SUGGESTION The survey was very good. It was challenging but overall its good experience. It teaches us many things which are very helpful in the future like how to conduct market research, how to meet with people and how to tackle the difficult situations. But there are some suggestions from me which will make this survey more easily in the future. 1. Internet pack or tab is 2G enabled sometime it lost network. It create problem so the reason behind I lost my lots of time. 2. Tab is frozen or hanged to many time and also please fix the bugs of public plus application. 3. Randomly sampling list is not up to date. 4. As per our Indian constitution we have no right to ask question like who you vote, whom to cast the vote in 2017. 5. The purpose of the survey was not completely clear to the students such as what is the motive behind this survey, when we ask them questions like to whom you cast the vote in the past 2012 lok sabha election. They think that we are coming from particular political party. 6. Supervisors are not motivator they have no etiquette like how to talk with someone. They always demotivate us. 7. There should be at least two person in every booth that mean it is easy to complete the task in efficient way 8. The question like what to do for HINDU community is really irrelevant. • 16. Page | 8 PROBLEM FACED DURING SURVEY In every research problem is the part of the research or survey. In a every day, every hour every minute or even every second we face and resolve it. Same as in our survey I am facing to many problem some time I resolve it easily and some time it took some time because they are gigantic.  Distance for village is very far from main road.  Lack of training and even no DEMOSTRATION related to survey.  People are hesitate to give answer related to political question they always say you are MBA STUDENT AND YOU EVEN DON’T KNOW THIS TYPE OF QUESTION IS NOT ASKED TO BE ANYONE as per our Indian constitution.  People are afraid to me they always think I am govt. employer.  Language barriers like I am unable to read and write Punajbi but VSKM consulting providing Punajbi language tablet.  People leave their village such as seasonal migration people.  Most people migrated to somewhere else for job.  Some of the address is wrong.  People are hesitate to give their own phone number  Some people don’t have any phone or mobile.
  • 17. Page | 9 OVSERVATION During the survey I observe too many things. I meet different kind of lovely people. It helps me to observe what is real Punjab, different way to talk with people. It helps me to understand what my object for the society is. During survey I observed too many things in five day some of them are positive and some of negative.  Our govt. special Punjab govt. is not doing good lots of people are illiterate because they have no school, college. Punjab govt. is just focusing on urban area of Punjab but they are not focusing on rural area  There are very few source of income  The main source of income is primary sector such as agricultural  Water facility is not so good.  People are busy in their work when I reached to someone house they always say come in the afternoon.  People are very politely to me in every they always offer me tea, butter milk or lunch.  Some people are given all the answer of my question but some are not they stop when I ask the question related to politics.  Some persons got angry when they come to know that this survey is about government, because they are very much disappoint with working of the government.  Most people are Sikh religion so when I asked the question like what to do more for Hindu community they always say one answer make shelter for cow.  Roads are not raw. Everywhere in the road pothole.  We also observed that people are not happy with the working of the ruling party, in the next election they want change in the government.  People standard of living is low.  There is no hierarchy level in society  No safety, no medical facility and hospital.  Nearest hospital I around 25 to 40 km.  Different people were different views regarding upcoming elections.  Some high class people not open the door of the house due to the ego of the money and they do not interact with us.

  • 22. Page | 14 FINDING AND CONCLUSION The village study enabled me in studying the various aspects of the village life. We came to know various things knowing which perhaps were not possible without staying in the village among the rural population. My stay helped me to understand the lives of the villager, their need and various dynamics relating to it. The First-hand experience is how they sustain their livelihood, which kind of difficulties they face for livelihood and other expenses of household. And we also saw the various development plans running in the village and impact of it helped me to sharpen my understanding of these plans and ground realities associated with them. It’s easy to stay outside the village and suggests various means for the development of village but the real picture is quite different in the village. The village do have its bright colour which is absent in urban areas, even in many developed cities of the country. The facts like equality between different castes, female position in the house, unity among villagers etc. are among some of the positive aspects of the village. Still there is sufficient scope of improvements in the village related to the providing of livelihood opportunity to the villagers. We can say that providing subsidies will not help but what the villagers actually needed is the information and knowledge about their products, their value and their demand in the outside market, so that they could get appropriate return for their hard work. THINGS THEY NEED:  Need of the school, college and hospital.  Drainage facility.  Street light need.  Employment.  Rehabitation centre for removing drugs  Infrastructure facility.  Electricity and clean water facility
