Catholics in Poland celebrate Easter in April with religious services and traditions such as bringing palm branches to church on Palm Sunday. On Holy Saturday, people take baskets of food like bread, eggs, sausage and sweets to church to be blessed. Families have festive breakfasts on Easter Sunday when children look for chocolate eggs left by the Easter Bunny, and people visit relatives. Easter Monday involves playful water splashing between Poles.
