Ru is a bilingual Portuguese musician born in England who began singing at birth. She studied jazz piano, voice, guitar, and drums at a prestigious music school and earned degrees in music and design. Ru has extensive touring and studio experience, performing over 100 concerts in 2014, and has had her songs featured in movies and TV shows. She is now releasing her first solo EP and debut single "Summer Blaze" which will be available for pre-order in July 2015.

Ru is a bilingual musician of English descent born in Portugal who began
singing as soon as she arrived into this world.
Ru started playing piano at the early age of three and picked up the guitar in her
teenage years due to her passion for rock music.
She studied Jazz piano, voice, drums and guitar at the prestigious Jazz School
Hot Club and studied "Jazz and Modern Music" at University as well as earning
another degree in Design & Marketing.
As a songwriter her song "Janeiro" was featured in the German movie "Before
Dawn".
Ru has a vast musical, touring and studio experience having been the keyboard
player of the rock band "Rockalady", Red House View (songwriter and
frontwoman), Casual Attraction (songwriter, rhythm guitarist and frontwoman:
the band's single "So Many Reasons" was featured as the soundtrack of the TV
séries "I love it"). Ru also works as a songwriter for various international artists.
In 2014, her tour included 102 concerts.
Ru has performed for Green Alliance at the Il Bottaccio Luxury Venue in London
and for foreign ministers at the Presidential Palace in Portugal.
Ru performed for an audience of 70 thousand people at the Liuna Festival,
Downsview Park (Toronto) touring as the acoustic guitarist, back vocalist and
percussionist of "The Lord of the Voices" Show.
Her personal style is pop greatly influenced by soul, jazz, blues and rock.
Ru is now releasing her first solo EP.
"Summer Blaze" is the first single. It will be available for pre-order on all digital
stores (worldwide) on July 13th, 2015.
