BreakoutBand is a social music game where users can become artists by making songs and discovering new talent. Users spend an average of 40 minutes recording vocals and 28 minutes making beats in the game. The game allows users to release songs to charts, enter competitions, earn virtual royalties, get and become fans, and share songs on social media. Upcoming features include a Facebook app, featured artists for remixes, selling songs on iTunes, music videos, user bands and collaboration, and mobile apps. David has over 10 years of experience in the media, entertainment
and learning space. Prior to founding BreakoutBand, David was the
David Moricca Director of Online Learning Services and Director of Business
Development for Scholastic. David is a graduate of Harvard Law
CEO & Founder School and UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the college’s
all-male a cappella group.
