                      I was exploring how
                      foundations would work
and how the first floor and
roof would be held up using

Editor's Notes

  • #10 After seeing that my design was feasible I started to finalise my designs. I decided to change part of my design. I changed the organisation of the first floor. The original arrangement of rooms left space that was useless, so instead of having three doors on the right side of the landing I joined the rooms together with sliding doors. This gives the option of opening up the doors to make one big area. This arrangement is ideal for entertaining company and social gatherings of any kind. Although with this change I found that I also had to move the utility cupboard into the largest bedroom.
  • #16 Here I organised the electrics in my house drawing on my plan all the basic components that would be needed
  • #17 This is the legend I used to mark my plan
  • #18 Here I started looking into the mechanical aspect of building. I looked at water, heating and ventilation services
  • #19 lastly I made a 3d model of my building using Google sketch up
