The Northern Illinois Rockford Heart Walk will take place on May 2, 2015 at Rock Valley College. The American Heart Association hosts the annual Heart Walk to raise funds for heart disease research and educate the public about healthy lifestyle choices. Participants can register online now and choose to walk individually or on a team. Fundraising for the important cause is encouraged.

 The executive director of Randy Hassen Management, based in
Chicago, Illinois, Randy Hassen established his company in April of
2012 to provide a business support service to healthcare
institutions. Away from work, Randy Hassen enjoys supporting
health nonprofit organizations such as the American Heart
Association.

 Each year, the American Heart Association hosts the Heart Walk to
raise awareness about heart disease and funds for medical
research. Additionally, the Heart Walk provides opportunities to
educate the community about healthy lifestyles that aid in the
prevention of heart disease and stroke.

 On May 2, 2015, the association will host the Northern Illinois
Rockford Heart Walk at Rock Valley College. Registration begins at
8 a.m., with the walk beginning an hour later. The walk itself is a
public and free activity, but participants are encouraged to raise
funds for the cause. Registration is currently available at
www.heart.org. Participants may choose to walk individually, join
a team, or create their own walk team.
