The husband wishes to take his wife on a sentimental and romantic trip for the holidays to a place that was meaningful to him. However, two weeks before the trip, the husband passes away. After grieving, the wife decides to go on the trip alone as a way to honor her late husband and find closure. During the trip, she has flashbacks of them together and finds herself overcome with grief once again at places that remind her of her husband.

2. Overview
A husband and wife are approaching their Christmas holidays and the
husband wishes to take his wife on a romantic yet meaningful trip for him.
The place he wishes to take her is somehow a sentimental place for him in
his life and is really looking forward to taking her here. Two weeks prior to
the holiday, the husband passes away and it is an extremely upsetting time
for the wife. After a couple weeks of being upset and trying to recover from
the passing, the wife is contemplating whether she should go on this holiday
without her husband as she knew how much it meant to him. In conclusion,
she decides to go as a way of closure and doing it for her husband. On the
journey there will be a voice over of her voice decscribing her story. Once
she goes on the holiday, the wife starts getting flashbacks of them together
from which certain things are reminding her of him. The wife finds herself in
the same state in which she was once she found out about her husbands
passing.

3. Genre
The genre in which I chose is Drama/Romance. I
believe this is best suited to the storyline I have
chosen as it is quite a soppy and girly sequence.
Within this you can use a variety of ways to
represent the genre through certain means such
as a tragic incident or significant yet effective
event.

4. Location
The location in which I will film will be partly
London and the other part in a tropical location
such as Mexico. This way, the seperation of the
husbands passing and the wife trying to gain
closure are established more through separate
locations.

5. Equipment Needed
Equipment I will need :
A shoulder mount
Nikon D3200 Camera
SD card

6. Costume/Props
Costume will be pretty basic as the story is in
everyday life therefore nothing eccentric is
necessary. I will need some tissues as it will
represent the similar action from when she cries
after the husbands passing to when she sees
things which remind her of her husband. I will
need luggage and a boarding pass to show the
wife travelling to the destination.

7. Casting
I am going to use my Mum and Dad as the
husband and wife. I think this would be a good
idea as my parents already have a connection
which will be recognized through the act
therefore making it more natural for them to act.

8. Challenges
I believe it may be challenging to film getting on
the plane precisely as I cannot hold up people
around me. It may also be challenging to take the
equipment abroad.

9. Lessons I Have Learnt
from my Preliminary Task
For my preliminary task, I had difficulty trying to
arrange the actors to be available for the times
for which suit both of us
