This document contains pre-production ideas and notes for potential short films. One idea is about a young woman who finds a pearl on the beach and remembers her beloved who recently passed away from an illness. Another proposes a drama about teenage lovers who run away together due to not being accepted by their families. A third concept is about a person who overthinks different scenarios of an online date at a cafe. Another is about a little girl who is often forgotten at the bus stop by her overworked mother. The last one presented is about a man who finds the house from his childhood which he realizes is his "home for his soul".

2. Memory
A young woman is walking along the beach, shells crumble under her feet. She finds a
pearl and remembers her beloved who died of an illness not so long ago. She
remembers how they were sitting together and how later she was sitting alone on the
beach. Movie tells their story, how they run away together because nobody accepted
their love, how they lived in abandoned house and how one of them died when run out
of medications. At the end, stepping shells is the same as stepping on a broken glass –
memory of her still hurts.

3. Pros&Cons
+ Easy to find costumes
+ Not a lot of props needed
- Location is hard to find
- Theme of may trigger some people, especially
blood drops
- Foggy weather is assumed for the atmosphere, but
it is quite difficult to match the day for shooting

4. Overthinking
A person agrees to meet with an Internet friend in the cafe, but after a couple of minutes after,
he begins to think about how this meeting may go and considers in his head different scenarios.
In the first one this friend turns out to be a killer who murders him. In second scenario they are
getting along very well and get married, then small multiple scenarios how he may spill the
coffee on the table, how his friend faints because of warmth in the café etc. etc.

5. Pros&Cons
+ Easy to find location
+ A relevant issue for some people
+ Possibility to show problem of overthinking with not
too much pressure, make a film in more comedian way
- Hard to find some of costumes
- While shooting in café there may be a lot of background
sounds, so voiceover will be required.

6. Mom?
Little girl is forgotten on a bus stop, she is standing all alone in yellow dress, but not crying. She
starts her story about her mom, who seems to her really good, but the audience see how she
really is. Always working, never spend time with her daughter, she always find excuses.
Through the film this little girl seems more and more mature then she looks, her words are full
of understanding and acceptance. At the end she is still standing alone in her yellow dress,
waiting for her mom to come.

+ Relatable for some people and important theme
+ Bus stop is available location
+ Any dark room with one source of light (also easy
to find)
- Girl of 5-9yo as an actress & Middle aged woman as
an actress (not easy to find)
- A lot of props&costumes

8. Home for soul
Young man all his life was feeling like he didn’t belong anywhere. He started looking for a place,
that he can call his souls home. He again arrives to the new city and finds one house, that
attracts his attention. As he comes in it his memories come back, the house he found is a place,
where he lived with his family as a child. At the end, he found his home for soul, the best place
for him.
Or there he meets his late mothers ghost,
they talk. After that he feel relieved, the
heavy feeling in the chest subsides

9. Pros&Cons
+ Could be filmed all in one location
+ Only one costume required
+ Only one actor
+ Close for the author(me) theme
- Should be filmed at different times of the year to show changes
from his memories and now
- Abandoned house that is safe is not easy to find
