As the film is about hacking our main character will be using a lot of new technology which will attract a younger audience as it’s something they’re interested in. In particular younger males as they stereotypically are more interested in computers and technology as they spend time on computer games and similar technology. The younger male audience will also be attracted by the chase and more action/violent scenes the film would have

4. Our film has a female main character as the hacker. Having an independent, strong female character is inline with a particular type of hollywood movie which uses a heroine rather than a hero. We can see this from films such as ‘The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘Salt’. This would attract Woman to watch our film as they would enjoy watching a Woman play a leading role in a thriller film.

5. As well as our target audience of 15-25, our film would also have a large secondary audience of 25 upwards. This is because of our very present storyline of a wikileaks basis. Also the film has a political role in it as well as the Government wants to cover up the information the hacker has. Therefore this would attract the 25+ audience as they are interested in the current affairs in the news and could relate this to our film.
