COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS
FOR
-shows reason or purpose
- use to explain the ‘why’ in a situation
Example:
Everyone thought he would lose for he was sick.
Example/s
1. She needs to be home for her kids.
2. I am trying to find a job for I am
unemployed
AND
-connects two or more ideas with the same rank
- used when two similar clauses or points are made
Example:
I took the exam and waited for the result.
COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS
