2. Thesis There should also be a limit on the number of abortions a woman has because abortion should not be used as a form of birth control. Abortion should only be legal in the first term of pregnancy and should remain the mothers choice.

3. What is Abortion? Abortion is a procedure used to end a pregnancy. It involves using medicine or surgery to remove the embryo or fetus and placenta from the uterus.

4. What are the Abortion laws? In 1973 the U.S. court decided that, a woman and her doctor may freely decide to terminate a pregnancy during the first trimester, anywhere in the U.S.

5. What Can States do? The state governments are only able to restrict abortion access after the first trimester with laws intended to protect the woman's health. Abortions after fetal viability are available but only if the woman's health or life are at risk and state governments can prohibit other abortions.
