3. MARQUEE TOOL
The Marquee tool is the most basic of selection
tools and often the one most useful tool. This tool
is used to draw selections based on geometric
shapes .To form the selection, simply click and
drag the mouse.
5. RECTANGULAR MARQUEE
TOOL
Rectangular Marquee Tool, one of Photoshop's
basic selection tool. As the name implies, the
Rectangular Marquee tool is perfect for times
when you need to draw a selection in the shape of
a rectangle or a square.
8. ELLIPTICAL MARQUEE TOOL
The Elliptical Marquee Tool allows us to draw oval
or circular selections! If you already know how to use
the Rectangular Marquee Tool, Elliptical Marquee
Tool as being the same thing, just with extremely
rounded corners.
11. SINGLE ROW MARQUEE
TOOL
The Single Row Marquee Tool will select a single
horizontal row of pixels in the document. To use the tool, we
just need to click anywhere in the document and Photoshop
will automatically select the pixel we clicked on, plus every
other pixel in that row from left to right. We're going to use
the tool to convert the horizontal grid lines into a series of
selection outlines
14. SINGLE COLUMN MARQUEE
TOOL
The Single Column Marquee Tool will select a
single vertical row of pixels in the document. To
use the tool, we just need to click anywhere in the
document and Photoshop will automatically select
the pixel we clicked on, plus every other pixel in
that column from top to bottom. We're going to
use the tool to convert the vertical grid lines into a
series of selection outlines
