This document provides a summary of a day at Kolding Friskole kindergarten class for their first day of school. It describes some of the daily activities like hanging up coats, lessons inside and outside, singing songs during assembly, eating packed lunches of rye bread in the breaks, and playing outdoors in the playground, with football and ping pong during recess. It concludes with the children getting ready to go home after crossing the road at the end of the school day.

The first school day of the
year
This is Kolding Friskole

2. This is the hallway, were we hang our coats and shoes
so we can go to class.

3. This is our class, in here we take our schoolbags on the
chairs and afterwards we go out and play with our
friends.

4. This is assembly. Everyday at 10 o’clock we sing a
song and hear stories. We also sing birthday songs, if
someone in school have birthday.

5. Lessons - sometimes we play in the lessons

6. Lessons - sometimes we have lessons outside – if the
weather is good.

7. Lessons - sometimes we read books in the lessons.

8. Lessons - sometimes we stand by the blackboard and
tell about something in front of the class

9. Indoor - in the breaks - packed lunch
In Denmark we eat a lot of ryebread in our packed lunch.
