The multimedia Competition "Migrants in Europe" aims to give young artists and communicators an opportunity to reflect on the contribution of migrants to the European society today. The Competition should also serve as a first step towards more debate, information and opinion exchange.
The Competition is aimed at students who are over 18 years old and enrolled in art, graphic and communication schools in all EU countries and Croatia. The schools are to present the works in three categories – Poster, Photography and Video. Each school can present one or several works in one or several categories. The works will be judged at the national level and the best works will be forwarded to a European jury that will decide on European winners. A public internet vote will also take place on this website. The authors of the 30 European finalist works will travel to Brussels to attend a prize-giving ceremony with expected participation by Cecilia Malmström, European Commissioner for Home Affairs. The schools whose students win first prizes in the three categories and the first prize in the public vote will receive an award of €10,000 each.

In 2015, 2016 and 2018, DOMI was listed as one of the best companies in the world by the international headquarters of B Corporation, and has consecutively won the "Best Company in the World” award. Recognizing the urgent needs to turn around the business mentality of Taiwanese enterprises, Lian co-founded the Asia Pacific B Corp Association (APBCA) and started the B Lab Taiwan.Before Lian returned to Taiwan, he majored in biotechnology at the University of Alberta, Canada, took the Chiropractic Program at the Life University in Atlanta, USA, and studied fashion management at Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. He then completed an EMBA degree at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He was invited to teach as a part-time assistant professor at the Public Policy Research Center in Feng Chia University and Fu Jen Catholic University. As Communication Director at Dianova Portugal, the Health Promotion Initiative “Mocktails: memories of a fun night” is a prevention best practice of the United Nations aiming to raise awareness on the harm related effects of alcohol abuse developed in schools and community environoments since 2009.
It is promoted in collaboration of more than 40 Partners as national, and regional relevant stakeholders, in the city of Torres Vedras, having reached between 2009 and 2014 about 25.000 youngsters and adults.
As National Coordintaor for Portugal of the multimedia competition “Migrants in Europe” 2013 promoted by the European Commission - DG Home Affairs, have overachieved the defined goals in 182%
