What is it?
Argumentative is a paragraph that explains and
convinces the reader about the pro (agree) and
cons ( disagree),which is often called the
argumentative paragraph
It is a reasoned, logical way of
asserting the soundness of a
position, believe, or conclusion.

1) It has a topic sentence
2) It has supporting sentences for pro
and supporting sentences for cons.
Further both of these are called
argument
3) It has to use deductive or inductive
reasoning, cause and effect. And
argument by authority
Languages Features
1) Using a variety of tenses (multiple tenses):
present, past, future
2) Using verbs : believe, object, argue
3) Using capital : can, will, would, should, etc
4) Using adverbs : due to, because, etc
5) Using the word question (question word): why,
how, what, etc
Purpose Of Argumentation
To express an opinion without purpose to convince
the listener or reader for conducting a dispute or
contradiction of proposed statement without trying
to convince .
