local schools

more than ten schools and many businesses in

3. Problem
• Kelly Graphics relies on active
Facebook page for sales and updates
• People often ask if there is a website to
see available services and pricing
• Once people come into the store, they
often ask about available services,
pricing options, and design ideas
4. Current Conditions
• Kelly Graphics currently has no website
• Relies on active Facebook page
– New designs and projects are posted
regularly
– However, is limited with ability to post
available services and pricing
5. Desired Condition
• The desired condition is to have a website
that showcases available services for
customers
– Should include design and embroidery
services for local businesses and individual
customers
– Must include pricing and contact information
• A business card, pricing guide and sample
design booklet will help the customers’
experience when shopping in-store
7. Existing Graphics Standards
• Doesn’t have any existing standards for
branding or a color scheme
• Typically uses a standard font for the
logo (in varying colors)
• Facebook has a logo that matches
merchandise price tags, but doesn’t
match the business cards
• Business cards are out of date with an
old, unused email address
8. Implementation
• Work will begin with designing the website
– Color schemes, font choices, and layout
established by the website will be used
throughout all print materials
• Once website is finished, use the
information to complete the print materials
– Pricing guide, sample design booklet, and
business card will all have similar layout and
color scheme as the website
• Upon completion, all materials will have a
similar look and will create a cohesive
branding identity
9. Color Scheme

and shades of gray
• Warm colors will be featured as accents
and headers

23. Challenges
• Keeping up with the project along with
my other class work
• Being patient when it took longer to
receive information from Kelly Graphics
• Creating the website, as I have never
made a site of this scale
• Working out changes to the site to
make it more compatible with all
internet browsers
24. Conclusion
• I learned a great deal about planning,
setting and maintaining deadlines, and
becoming a better critic of my work
• The overall positive reaction to the website
design, colors, and images has helped me
to feel more confident in my web design
skills
• Positive feedback from the evaluation and
surveys have showed me that this project
was successful
