lifestyles.
THEORY OF CHANGE

                   Over the next ten years, Pūkoʻa  Kani
                   ʻĀina  Community Development
                   Corporationʻs  primary focus will be
                   on the Native Hawaiian Learner from
                   keiki to kupuna living in their
                   communities throughout Hawaiʻi.

                   Pūkoʻa    Kani ʻĀina intended impact
                   will be to equip the largest number of
                   Native Hawaiian learners with the
                   skills to increase their academic
                   achievement, graduate from college
                   and find their lifeʻs calling and that
                   their work will first benefit
                   themselves and their families, second
                   their Native Hawaiian community and
                   third the global community.
Pūkoʻa
                         Kani ‘Āina
                    will support the greatest number of community educational
                    organizations serving the Native Hawaiian learner to become
                    high performing organizations.
To achieve IMPACT
Strategic Priorities



            To guide us for the next five years
#1 Develop Diversified Financial Investment
Objective: by the end of 5 years will develop PKA funding pie to include 5
major sectors: Government grants, foundation funds, individual donations
(corporations & social lenders), and a For-Profit subsidiary.
#2 – To Increase Capacity in Hawaiian Communities

Objective: each year PKA will develop at least 1 of 6 high impact
characteristics in Native Hawaiian organizations.
#3 – Articulate Our Return on Investment (ROI) and
our Social Return on Investment (SROI)
Objective 1: by end of year 1 develop our tool for
calculating our impact on the communities (and in dollars).

Objective 2: by end of year 3 PKA will have developed,
implemented, evaluated and refined its investment strategy
and will have increased its investors by 100% each year.
