This document discusses the strategic research agenda of the IIP-SaaS, which aims to advance capabilities around software as a service (SaaS) in the Netherlands. The IIP-SaaS wants to create integrated projects with businesses, academia, and government to develop a business ecosystem and testbed around SaaS. The research will focus on themes like business services innovation, software services evolution, and services transition and governance. The goal is to improve productivity and competitiveness in the Dutch services sector through SaaS.
