The Amsterdam Health and Technology Institute (AHTI) was awarded €7 million to become a new knowledge institute in Amsterdam focused on improving health quality while lowering costs through innovation. AHTI's goal is to connect people, technology, and information to improve healthcare value in Amsterdam and worldwide through education, research, and fostering entrepreneurship across a global network of "living labs" centered in Amsterdam. The city of Amsterdam has committed to a 10-year partnership with AHTI, including €17 million in funding and in-kind contributions.

Modernizing Academic Teaching & Research Environment in Business & Economics at Lebanon and Syria ( MATRE)
MATRE project contributes towards modernizing the higher education sector in Lebanon and Syria by supporting the “Higher Education & Society” TEMPUS programme theme. This was realized by establishing centers for international quality research & sustainable curricula development in the Business, Economics & Management fields at the LB and SY partner universities to lead the research environment development in cooperation with other LB/SY universities, business representatives & similar centers in EU & neighboring countries.
