• To create negative sentences or expressions in Present
Continuous we add NOT after the verb TO-BE. Let’s check this
verb.
VERB TO-BE
I am NOT (I’m NOT)
You are NOT (you AREN’T)
She is NOT (she ISN’T)
He is NOT (he ISN’T)
It is NOT (it ISN’T)
They are NOT (they AREN’T)
We are NOT (we AREN’T)

3. STRUCTURE
• To build negative sentences or expressions with Present
Continuous, we follow the below structure:
pronoun + TO-BE + NOT + action verb(ING) + complement
Examples: I am NOT watchING NETFLIX
She is NOT surfING on Facebook
we are NOT TakING selfies
NOTE: when a verb finishes in E like TAKE, we omit the E, and add ING.
