This document discusses the present and future of Maemo digital marketing. It provides a brief history of Maemo from 2005-2007. The goals are to set a new benchmark for Nokia digital marketing, create a fresh software experience approach, and build a collaborative marketing platform. The challenge is to create value for the Maemo community. Currently, the platform launched with over 3 million visitors in the first 24 hours and 10 million visitors from August 27 to September 15, 2009. Maemo Select highlights applications from the Ovi Store and community. Future challenges include ensuring collaboration between Nokia and the community, as Maemo's identity relies on being a strong community. A marketing brainstorm meeting is proposed to improve maemo.org and maemo.
