IPPTA is an association that has promoted pulp, paper, and allied industry technology in India since 1964 through publications and conferences. It organizes annual conventions and seminars for industry professionals to exchange ideas and discuss challenges. IPPTA also publishes a quarterly journal to provide an academic platform for research and developments in pulp and paper technology. The articles are compiled from technical presentations at conferences as well as submissions from researchers worldwide. To further encourage innovation and disseminate knowledge accurately, IPPTA has upgraded its editorial board to international experts and implements a stringent peer review process for its new journal IPPTA Papyrus 360. It invites high quality papers in areas related to pulp and paper engineering and technology.

IPPTA, an association of professionals engaged in pulp, paper, newsprint and allied Industry in India,
has been engaged since 1964 in dissemination of technology upgradation and latest developments in
the area of Pulp and Paper manufacturing for promotion of professional efficiency in the sector.
Scientific publishing is an essential aspect of scientific and technological progress and IPPTA
communicates new advances in scientific and technological knowledge of the academicians, scientists
and professionals associated with pulp and paper industry to the industrial sector through its
publication and conferences. For this purpose, IPPTA organizes annual conventions and zonal
seminars every year to exchange ideas, experiences and problems faced by the R&D and technical
professionals in their day to day specialize dvocation.The events organized have been valuable for the
technocrats, scientists, engineers and professionals working in Pulp, Paper and Allied Industries.
IPPTA also publishes a quarterly journal with objective to provide an academic medium and important
reference for advancements and dissemination of research and development in the field of Pulp and
Paper technology.The articles published by IPPTA are mainly the compilation of the technical articles
presented in the annual convention and zonal seminars as well as the papers submitted by the eminent
researchers and professionals from academia, industries, research institution and technology suppliers
fromIndiaandabroad.
IPPTA's endeavor has been promotion of original theoretical and application based ideas and studies
contributing to better understanding of science, engineering and technological challenges faced in the
areaof pulp,paperandalliedfields.
Many aspiring clinicians and scientists dream of publishing their work in high-impact journals. In this
context, for the greater significance for the industry, to encourage and promote innovation, develop
scientific and technical solutions for the problems confronting the industries and to implement
applications of science and technology in pulp, paper and allied Industry, For the knowledge
dissemination and publications to be accurate, valid, reproducible, and industrially useful, IPPTA has
upgradedthe editorial board representing global academic and Industry experts,to follow a stringent
peer review process and thereby publish most relevant technical reviews and research and innovation
initiatives.This is essential for propagation of impactful basic and applied research in the industry and
the journal is focused on high visibility accessible to global academic community, offering outstanding
exposure to researchers, professionals and academicians in their respective areas. The efforts would
ultimatelybenefittheindustrybyimplementationof theresearchandinnovationatproductionlevel.
IPPTA proposes to bring out one PEER REVIWED JOURNAL with very limited number of papers
every year.The journal would be titled IPPTA Papyrus 360'.The first such journal is proposed to be
brought out in first quarter of 2019. Each paper shall be preferably reviewed by two overseas and one
India resource.They would help the author with their wisdom and knowledge to upgrade the contents
and slowly bring it to international level. Publication of papers in such prestigious journal would add
valuetoauthorsresumeaswell.

2. The peer reviewed IPPTA journal accepts manuscripts in all relevant fields of pulp and paper, written
in English with sound grammar and proper terminologies.The articles are pre-reviewed by the editor,
and subjected to critical peer review by world renowned editorial board. Contributions must be
original,andnotpreviouslyorsimultaneouslypublishedelsewhere.
IPPTA invites high quality papers for review and publication in all areas related to pulp and paper
engineering and technology, environmental management, nanotechnology etc. All authors must agree
on the originality of the contents of the manuscript prior to its submission for publication in the
