How to succeed in redesign (emporium)

Tom practiced different camera angles and settings to improve his photography skills for an upcoming production. He took multiple shots of different angles and experimented with ISO settings to understand how they impact lighting. Tom also completed several Photoshop tutorials, some more successfully than others. The tutorials covered techniques like 3D text, neon lighting effects, and double exposures. While some designs were challenging, Tom felt the tutorials provided creative inspiration and advanced his skills compared to earlier work. He believed regular practice would help him implement these styles effectively in future projects.
Portrait drawing tips
Portrait drawing tips include considering proportions and using features of the face as guides. The eyes are around the center of the face, with the forehead being about two nose lengths high and the whole face around four nose lengths. The width of the face is approximately five eye widths, with the space between the eyes being one eye width and the area next to each eye also about one eye width. Keeping practice drawings, regardless of quality, allows you to track your progress.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Practice Makes Perfect
- 1. Practicing Congratulations, you’re making great progress. I’m sure you’ve memorized most of the images associated with the numbers thus far.
- 2. Practicing Some of you may still be having trouble with instant recall, but that’s normal. The important thing is that at this point you’ve long ago mastered the art of translating numbers into words/images. Right?
- 3. Practicing It’s kind of like learning to read. You’re probably very good at “sounding out” the images based on the numbers you see. But just as you can understand all of the words written on this page without having to sound them out – you recognize nearly every word here at first glance, I’m sure – you can get to the point where numbers become images INSTANTLY in your head. How?
- 4. Practicing Why practice, of course!
- 5. Practicing Practice makes perfect, it’s been said. So how do you practice number imagery outside of Memrise?
- 6. Practicing Just count. That’s all. I’m sure you do it more times during the day than you realize. So now whenever you count, instead of counting numbers (or sheep if you’re an insomniac) count with images. No more 1,2,3,4,5… Think ale,hen,ham,ear,hive No more 5,10,15 Think hive,Lisa,laugh
- 7. Practicing You also read numbers all the time. Replace them with images. I’m running late! It’s 9:25! Look at the clock and say, it’s Goo, knife. It may sound silly, but it’s a great way to familiarize yourself with the images until you no longer have to THINK about them. They’ll just be in your head.
- 8. Practicing What’s the score in that hockey match? Whore: Hen You’re playing a game with someone, use the images to keep score. Chances are you won’t lose count as easily.
- 9. Practicing Just use it everywhere you go!
