This document discusses the importance of blood donation and encourages women to take a leadership role in promoting donation. It notes that there is no way to manufacture blood and it can only come from human donors. Blood is needed to help those with serious health issues, accidents, surgeries, and blood disorders. Donated blood only lasts 40 days so constant replenishment is needed. Women especially should promote donation as they require significant blood for childbirth and medical procedures. Developing blood donation as a habit and motivating others could help solve the critical need for blood.
2. Nothing is comparable to the preciousness
of human blood.
Despite of the rapid and remarkable
conquests of medical science today, there is
no factory that manufactures blood.
It is only in human beings that human blood
is made and circulated.
This is the greatest gift one can do for the
mankind.
3.
4. Almost all serious health issues use blood
donated by people like you and me to save lives.
Blood that is donated last a little more than 40
days. Then it must be disposed of. That means
we need to constantly replenish the blood so it is
there when someone needs it.
Your blood could save a baby, a child, a mother, a
father, a grandfather or a grandmother.
One cannot make blood, it is a gift we all have
inside of us to give to those who are injured, sick,
or in need. Those are the best reasons to donate
blood.

8. The ratio of blood consumption (man: women)
is 40:60.
Women should not forget that they require quite
a large quantity of blood in treatment of various
surgical cases and particularly at child birth.
Each women should be concerned about this
need.
We should remember- “ If we educate a man,
we educate a person, but if we educate a
woman, we educate the whole family.
9. Women have come out to take their rightful position in the vast
expanse of the world.
They have equal responsibility in the community of mankind.
Under this perspective the women of contemporary India have
to think over and over again, as to how best they can play their
role, shoulder to shoulder with their male partners in the
development of the country.
If we view the social life, the lion-hearted women outnumber
the men.
Women have the instinct love to overcome gracefully the
tribulations and yet remain magnanimous.
Once we reach the loving heart of women, the problem of
donor recruitment would be solved.
10. Make Blood Donation a HABIT
Donate regularly – after every 3 months to
commemorate special days like birthdays,
anniversaries ….
Motivate others to donate

It won’t cost us rather it will bring sweet
smiles on the faces of the needy people.

the women in particular to take up the
initiative for this noble and voluntary cause.
Let us join hands together to speed up this
movement.
