‘on’ is for days and dates.
‘in’ is for the year and the month.
Example:
 I was born on fifteenth of August two thousand and
ten.
 She was born in December.
 He was born in two thousand and ten.

• It is polite and nice to greet others.
• There are some ways to greet others. Some are
formal and some others are informal.
• To inform telephone number we use cardinal
numbers such as 0298-8718417.

16. • To tell a date we use ordinal numbers such as the
first of January (1st January).
• To fill in the form of identity card we must use the
correct spelling.
