This document discusses personal and economic lessons learned from a program in Gwanaksa, South Korea in December 2016. It covers the following topics: 1. Data and indicators that can be used to suggest and implement policies, including available economic data and models. 2. Technology and innovation research, including a thesis on technology policy for Ecuador and proposals for ICT policy and e-government. 3. Trade policies, including examples from Korea and proposals made to Ecuadorian government offices. 4. Investment policies, including a proposal made to the Ecuadorian Investment Undersecretary Office and examples from Songdo City. The document concludes by discussing future challenges and thanking the audience.
