Does the project have environmental or social impact?
Describe the environmental or social impact.
Low productivity and Innovation levels. Even thought SMBs income
represents ~70% of GDP in most of the Latam countries, their productivity
remains low at an average annual growth rate of 0.8%*. Experts say much of
that might be caused by low investments in innovation and branding.

with international financing resources, 20 digital prototypes would initially be developed at no cost to micro and small companies, where a prior innovative diagnosis would be carried out
with a team of experts, thus identifying real opportunities for improvement, and growth for each beneficiary company. Thus, the project establishes the generation of an accessible and low-

VIRTUAL EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS WITH PREDICTIVE
MODELS
HQ Company Location
Department ANTIOQUIA Municipality Sabaneta
Project description
The project intervenes in health problems related to diseases of psychosocial, cardiovascular and osteomuscular origin that predominate in the population Colombian farm worker. (Eg.
Depression - stress - burnout - cardiovascular: coronary heart disease - acute myocardial infarction cerebrovascular disease and musculoskeletal: deficiencies of the spine such as low back
pain- lesions of the rotator cuff – tendonitis – lower extremity diseases hip – knee and ankle, among others), the problem we solve is that in remote areas of the country, it is difficult for an
Occupational Health Professional to travel to care for and monitor diseases of osteomuscular origin (physiotherapist), cardiovascular (cardiologist) orpsychosocial (OSH specialist
psychologist or psychiatrist) not only to evaluate the worker or the person, but to watch and monitor the risks of occurrence of the monitored diseases. It is no secret to anyone that there is
a deficit of professionals in health in Colombia and more than specialists, taking into account that in this country there are only 28,900 specialists, which means that there is a specialist
doctor for 1,765people, and they are concentrated in the main cities, not in remote municipalities With our virtual epidemiological surveillance systems we will monitor risks and predict
diseases in the field sector before they prevent verifying the level of risk of employees, and if they are sick, we will detect the disease without the need to refer to a specialist professional
until rural areas, granting the employee or field worker, an action plan to treat risks or illness if you are already sick
Does the project have any certification? Yes Does the company export? No
Exports Markets (Countries): Panamá
Does the project have environmental or social impact? Yes
Describe the environmental or social impact.
The health consequences of work are not equally similar in Agriculture or in
the Field, due to the fact that the signs and symptoms go unnoticed,
resulting in a delay in the qualification of occupational origin of the disease
and forcing the doctor and the worker to relate the health situation with
prolonged or dangerous exposure to the risk factors of their occupational
context, and a very important risk factor such as climate change added to
the above, the scarce resources of the workers for being at the base of the
pyramid (strata 1 and 2) does not allow them to access such services. Based
on what has been mentioned, we create primary surveillance systems that
anticipate the risks of suffering diseases, what we call primary surveillance
(sentinel), because in the case of the countryside in Colombia or Brazil,
where most of the territory is rural, the Transferring workers to be seen by
specialists is difficult and, furthermore, many of the workers are not affiliated
with social security, so they do not have health services that allow them to
be diagnosed, much less in advance as a form of prevention. Our
technologies allow us to reach the most remote places with an internet
connection with the productive units and also detect disease risks of many
workers at the base of the pyramid at low cost without being affiliated with
social security, so we aim at the SDG decent work, health and well-being as
well as solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change because we
measure the level of risk of workers exposed to climate change.

  • 12. PROJECT INFORMATION Sector Software Sub-sector Software and IT Services Name of Project VIRTUAL EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS WITH PREDICTIVE MODELS HQ Company Location Department ANTIOQUIA Municipality Sabaneta Project description The project intervenes in health problems related to diseases of psychosocial, cardiovascular and osteomuscular origin that predominate in the population Colombian farm worker. (Eg. Depression - stress - burnout - cardiovascular: coronary heart disease - acute myocardial infarction cerebrovascular disease and musculoskeletal: deficiencies of the spine such as low back pain- lesions of the rotator cuff – tendonitis – lower extremity diseases hip – knee and ankle, among others), the problem we solve is that in remote areas of the country, it is difficult for an Occupational Health Professional to travel to care for and monitor diseases of osteomuscular origin (physiotherapist), cardiovascular (cardiologist) orpsychosocial (OSH specialist psychologist or psychiatrist) not only to evaluate the worker or the person, but to watch and monitor the risks of occurrence of the monitored diseases. It is no secret to anyone that there is a deficit of professionals in health in Colombia and more than specialists, taking into account that in this country there are only 28,900 specialists, which means that there is a specialist doctor for 1,765people, and they are concentrated in the main cities, not in remote municipalities With our virtual epidemiological surveillance systems we will monitor risks and predict diseases in the field sector before they prevent verifying the level of risk of employees, and if they are sick, we will detect the disease without the need to refer to a specialist professional until rural areas, granting the employee or field worker, an action plan to treat risks or illness if you are already sick Does the project have any certification? Yes Does the company export? No Exports Markets (Countries): Panamá Does the project have environmental or social impact? Yes Describe the environmental or social impact. The health consequences of work are not equally similar in Agriculture or in the Field, due to the fact that the signs and symptoms go unnoticed, resulting in a delay in the qualification of occupational origin of the disease and forcing the doctor and the worker to relate the health situation with prolonged or dangerous exposure to the risk factors of their occupational context, and a very important risk factor such as climate change added to the above, the scarce resources of the workers for being at the base of the pyramid (strata 1 and 2) does not allow them to access such services. Based on what has been mentioned, we create primary surveillance systems that anticipate the risks of suffering diseases, what we call primary surveillance (sentinel), because in the case of the countryside in Colombia or Brazil, where most of the territory is rural, the Transferring workers to be seen by specialists is difficult and, furthermore, many of the workers are not affiliated with social security, so they do not have health services that allow them to be diagnosed, much less in advance as a form of prevention. Our technologies allow us to reach the most remote places with an internet connection with the productive units and also detect disease risks of many workers at the base of the pyramid at low cost without being affiliated with social security, so we aim at the SDG decent work, health and well-being as well as solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change because we measure the level of risk of workers exposed to climate change.
