There are three systems for registering pesticides in Pakistan - Form 17, Form 16, and Form 1. Form 17 allows registration of new pesticides without trials, while Form 16 allows registration of certain pre-approved pesticides without trials. 1. REGISTRATION OF PESTICIDES IN PAKISTAN. Registration Of Pesticide In Pakistan Is Controlled By The Agricultural Pesticide Ordinance Of 1971. OLD SYSTEM OF REGISTRATION. According To The Pesticides Ordinance Of 1971, Pesticides Were Only Permitted To Be Registered Under Form-1 .

5. Requisites / Documents To Be Arranged By The Manufacturer. ( Pesticide must be Registered under a Brand Name in the Manufacturer’s Country) 1) Registration Certificate of the Pesticide from the Agri. Dept. of the Manufacturer’s Country. 2) Letter form the Manufacturer appointing us as their Sole Agent for the Product in Pakistan. 3) Letter of Authorization to the Applicant for Registration,Import & Marketing of the Pesticide. 4) Chemical Composition /Recipe of Tech. & Formulated Grades. 5) Certificate of Specification. 6) In case the Manufacturer is from a Non-OECD member Country, Proof of its use & Registration in 1 OECD Country or China. 7) Technical Data & Analytical Methods as per the requirement in the Prescribed Form & Combined Toxicity in case of Mixture.

7. REGISTRATION UNDER FORM-16. To be Rendered in Triplicate.
