Jesus Christ was born in Israel 2000 years ago and his birth marked the beginning of the modern calendar. For his first 30 years, Jesus lived as a Jewish carpenter before becoming a great teacher who taught moral lessons in temples, synagogues, streets, weddings and more, with his disciples as students. He is considered the Messiah and Son of God by Christians.
