Planning and Goal Setting Goals Promote proper customer service among all employees Hold motivational seminars to promote positive attitude and a desire to succeed.  Offer an open communication system for employees to help them understand what is expected and allow them to address and questions or concerns. Create a warm, family environment.
Decision Making Process Personal contact with each employee to discover strengths and weaknesses Decided whether or not each employee is the best for the job that they are doing. Hold interviews to fill any positions that need to be filled-along with aptitude tests.
Diversity Efforts I plan to ensure that this company employs individuals of all cultures and races. I plan to have employees that when together can speak any major world language to ensure proper communication with customers .
Organizational Structure I plan to use a Functional Structure in the sales and customer service department. Each department will handle specific tasks such as, sales, customer complaints, bill payment etc.  All of which will be interconnected to each other.
Human Resources Management The HR department will be in charge of hiring and training new employees, as well as organizing and holding motivational seminars to help create a more positive work environment.
Motivation Their will be incentive programs for those who meet sales quotas or quotas for each department respectively. I also plan to have monthly contests, in which the person or people who are doing their job the best will be acknowledged for doing so, to instill a sense of pride in them.
Leadership Style I have a participative leadership style.  I will allow team members to offer input on what they think may fix a problem.  After a group consensus has been made I will look at the facts and information I have been given and make the final decision as to what needs to be done.
Communication I prefer an open-ended style of communication  that allows employees to offer input.  Also weekly  staff meetings will be held for each department to  ensure that everyone is on the  same page.  This will also allow them the time to express any questions  or concerns.
Teamwork Every employee will be expected to complete their assigned tasks as individuals, also they will be expected to work as a team when the situation calls for it.  The Motivational seminars will help with this.
For quality control I will have secret shoppers call and evaluate the service they received.  I will also occasionally listen in on calls to ensure that they are proper. Results will be reviewed on a daily basis.
Information Technology & E-Business I intent to use the internet to advertise the company and it's products.  Also Daily motivational emails will be sent to each employee through their employee email accounts.
My intentions for the future of this department include an open-ended form of communication along with alternative motivational techniques to help improve customer service and increase business.
