Students from B.R.A.'s Mundle English Medium School noticed visually challenged students from a nearby school needed educational toys to help them learn. They organized a talent show charity event to raise funds. With the money, they purchased educational toys for the visually challenged students. When they interacted with the students using the toys, they observed smiling faces and a more engaging learning experience. The experience strengthened their desire to continue helping others.

6. Everyday when we stepped out of our school, we usually found
the blind students of neighboring Blind Boys Institute holding
shoulders of one another passing by…

7. They were deprived of
the most precious gift of
God
i.e. EYESIGHT

8. We thought and thought and thought…
And a question arised,
Can we bring about a change in their situation
and help them in some way?

9. And the Answer was …

10. This developed a
STRONG URGE
within us
to help them out in some
way which led us to know
their immediate
requirement of
EDUCATIONAL TOYS

enhance their understanding by
TOUCH
and hence the title of our project…

13. We contacted The Headmistress of Blind Boys’ Institute
and expressed our wish to help the visually challenged.

14. We were acquainted by the authorities regarding
the immediate requirements. To name a few…
 Computers
 Sports material
 Braille books
 Educational toys

16. Final Solution –
Action plan and Implementation:
In order to realize this dream we decided to harness the boundless talent from our
school through a charity show,
‘TALENT EXTRAVAGANZA’

17. ’Learning by doing’
being our motto, we plunged ourselves
by all our heart and soul to execute this
idea.
This involved approaching sponsorers
for printing of tickets, arranging light
and sound, material for preparing
backdrop, setting up of stage, video
shooting and photographs.

18. Arranging the sponsorers helped us utilize the
entire funds collected for buying of educational toys
for the Blind Boys Institute. And the journey began…

52. Noteworthy Change Observed –
The smiling faces of the visually challenged on using the
educational toys gave us our reward. We could realize that
we were able to change the regular pattern of teaching –
learning into fun loving and cherishable experience.
