3.กริยาที่ลงท้าย l เพิ่ม l อีกตัวแล้วเติม ing ได้เลย
เช่น travel – travelling control - controlling
4.กริยาที่ลงท้าย ll เติม ing ได้เลย
เช่น call – calling tell - telling
5.กริยาที่ลงท้าย ie เปลี่ยน ie เป็น y แล้วเติม ing ได้เลย

6.คาเสียงสั้นตัวสะกดตัวเดียวหน้าตัวสะกดเป็นสระเพิ่มตัวสะกดอีกตัวก่อนเติม ing
