University Postgraduate Merit Award 2014
I have pleasure in advising you that you have been awarded a University Postgraduate Merit Award for
the duration of your enrolment in 2014. This award covers tuition fees and does not cover laboratory
charges, miscellaneous fees, notes and tutorials. This award covers up to a maximum of R38500 for MBA
students.
The value of the award will be R52720.
It is a condition of this award that you are enrolled as a Full-Time student for the program Bachelor of
Accounting Science with Honours, Higher Diploma in Accountancy at this University.
If you wish to accept this award, kindly complete and return the enclosed acceptance form to the Financial
Aid & Scholarship Office not later than 3 April 2014. The award will be credited to your fee account as
soon as you return the acceptance form.
Kindly note that you have to apply for this funding on an annual basis. The closing date is 31 October
each year.
Students who enrol mid-term will receive a pro-rated amount of the award. A student is not eligible for the
award after he/she has submitted the research.
