I am delighted to award you the International Scholarship. We received many applications
for our scholarships so your success is a great achievement, many congratulations!
The value of the scholarship is £2000. This will be deducted from your tuition fee for the first
year of your course.*
Be an ambassador for NTU
As a scholarship winner, you will be invited to meet the NTU international team and fellow
scholarship students when you arrive at NTU. You will have the opportunity to become an
ambassador for NTU, appearing on our university website and sharing your experience with
other students interested in studying at NTU.
There are also many other great opportunities such as our prestigious Scholarships Awards
Evening, work experience with the International Development Office and other exciting
events to attend.

What next?
 Sign the acceptance form and email it to international@ntu.ac.uk by 19 June
2015. If you do not wish to accept the scholarship please tell us immediately as
the award could be offered to another applicant
 If you have not already accepted your course offer, please do this by 19 June 2015
on your NTU Applicant Portal at www.ntu.ac.uk/apply.
 Meet any conditions of your offer of a place and fully enrol on the course.
I have read, understood and accept the following conditions:
1. If you do not accept the scholarship by 19 June 2015, we may withdraw your scholarship
offer.
2. If you decide to defer your course offer to the next academic year, you will not be able to
defer the scholarship. You will need to apply for the scholarship again.
3. Students who are sponsored by their employers, government or a funding body (full /
part) are not eligible for this scholarship award.
4. If you are awarded any other scholarship, bursary and / or tuition fee reduction from the
University, the maximum amount awarded will not exceed more than half the tuition fee
for the course.
5. Scholarships will be available in the form of a tuition fee reduction. If you are awarded a
scholarship your tuition fee will be adjusted before enrolment.
6. The scholarship amount will be deducted from your tuition fee. If you are paying your
tuition fee in instalments, the remaining tuition fee will be divided and you will pay an
equal amount on each instalment date.
7. The scholarship is not transferable and will not be awarded if you choose to defer your
entry to a different academic year or if you choose to transfer to a different course at the
University.
8. The scholarship will only be awarded once you accept and meet the conditions of your
offer, accept your scholarship offer and are eligible to enrol on the course.
9. As a scholarship winner, you may be asked to appear in online and / or printed University
marketing materials. This may involve providing a student profile and a photograph which
may be used to promote the University’s scholarship schemes and courses.
10. The University’s decision in all matters relating to the scholarship is final.
