This document outlines the requirements for a poster session assignment at a university library. Students must research and present a poster on a career exploration topic by certain deadlines. The poster must be printed in landscape format and include an abstract, title, author name, section headings, and graphics or tables. Students will present their posters during a session and have materials to hand out to attendees, including a 1-3 page summary with contact information that supports but does not replicate the poster.

Your Handout
 You must have at least one handout at the Poster Session
 Handout should be 1‐3 pages (1 is ideal, 3 is the maximum)
 Make enough copies of your handout for all attendees
 Be sure your handout supports the purpose of your poster, but is not simply a replica
 Match the colors and graphics of your handout to those used on your poster
 Handout must include:
 Title of poster
 Contact information
