Focus group
Analysis for poster options
We presented our focus group with these three options and asked them which poster
they preferred. (You can look at our poster options on our blog for a closer look).
Our target audience felt the writing at
the bottom of the poster looked too
“cramped” and there’s “too much
detail”, this put them off.
The focus group
very much felt
the age rating
wasn’t needed.
From the
endearing image
of the doll they
were able to infer
the age rating,
thus they
believed it wasn’t
necessary.
As well as this,
they disliked the
tag line: it’s a
chain reaction,
being positioned
at the top as they
felt it was out of
place there and
didn’t “flow”.
Our target audience liked this poster the most. As
opposed to the other poster, they liked the fact the
writing doesn’t look squashed together. One
member said out of all of the three posters this one
caught her attention the most. For this reason we
have decided to make this our final poster.
