SPECIFIC DUTIES BY POSITION

Lobby Officer

Be sure that you receive any pass-down information from the previous shift.

Upon arrival for duty, be sure that you inventory all provided equipment. Remember, that in the
event any officer accidentally takes equipment home with them, it must be brought back
immediately. Should equipment be missing or not working properly call Allied-Barton Security
immediately and report the situation. Computer problems should be reported to Honeywell.

Monitor the access and exit of all persons. Assist those in need of help.

Assure that all other security personnel are at their respective posts.

Relay to the Lobby Cleaners, any problem (dirty) areas.

Monitor all areas using the CCTV equipment at the desk.

Control the key inventory. All keys must be signed in/out.

Control all access cards.

Grant access to authorized persons during non-business hours.

All duties, lobby office's and rover's, are to be divided between them. The following duties must
be performed at the listed times (all weekdays):

6:00 am    Unlock floors 14. Unlock entrance doors. Activate handicap door. Activate
           elevators but leave in security mode.
7:00 am    Open garage gate, deactivate elevator security mode.
8am-4:30pm Monitor security desk and lobby area.
6:00 pm    Lock off the elevators with access to the 15th - 38th floors. The elevators are to be
           locked for cleaning supervisors -- place on manual operation.
8:00 pm    Lock all entrance doors, turn off handicap door, and place sign.
8:00 pm    Close main entrance to the garage.
10:30 pm   Lock the freight elevator.
           When the cleaning personnel are finished, the Freight Entrance must be secured.

Throughout the night, be sure that you monitor all elevator movement, ensuring that the cleaning
personnel are using the elevators as directed by the building manager.

Be sure that the following ACCESS CONTROL measures are taken during non-business hours:

1. Each person must show their Building Identification Card or be listed on the Pre-authorized
   Tenant List.
2. After verification at the scanning system, unlock the elevator to the floor that the person has
   access to.

3. Re-lock the elevator as soon as the person has exited the elevator, on their floor.

Monday-Friday at 5:00 am the elevators should be inspected for cleanliness, lighting, closed
control panel, and proper operation. Should you encounter any problems, be sure that you write
an Irregularity Report and leave it for the day shift. Also, be sure that you log any encountered
problems in the Elevator Repair Book.

Lobby Doors should be secured weekdays between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Saturday from 7
a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays and Holidays all day closed.

Parking Gate should also be closed on Saturday at 6:00 pm and all day Sunday.

Rover

Note: All Security Officers when on patrol in assigned areas must make sure that the following
areas are being complied with according to building regulations:
1. In the parking garage question all foot traffic; make sure cars are parking between the lines
    and note large cars parking in compact spaces.
2. Parking violation stickers are available for these violations. Try to be lenient in how you put
    the stickers on the drivers’ windows.

Throughout the remainder of the night hours, the Proxi Guard is to provide a continuous patrol of
the high and low-rise areas of the building. Report your position every 15 minutes. This is very
important. Should you need help or not be heard from, we will start with your last known
location.

Be sure that an accurate and up-to-date Security Officer Daily-Log is maintained.
Anything that happens in the building, tenants, garage or the surroundings must be logged
in, example: car accidents, broken wheel-stops, oil on the garage floor, rescue or police
called to tenants’ space, etc.

Should there be any questions regarding this section of the post orders, ask questions until the
information makes sense to you. Remember that there is no such thing as a stupid question.

From time to time, the Building Management or Allied-Barton Security may distribute memos to
Security. These memos will contain information regarding specific activities that are to take
place in the building. The memo will also contain specific information regarding company
name, floors that will be affected, which elevator/s are to be used, and what time etc. Any
changes to written information provided by either the client or Allied-Barton Security must be
approved by the Building Management or Allied-Barton Security, depending on where the memo
originated. All officers must initial these memos.

All deliveries to the property will be verified with each tenant before allowing access to the
loading area. For deliveries after-hours and on weekends you must call the person who is
receiving the delivery, and then send delivery to the office. If you cannot get in touch with the
tenant, escort the delivery.

Any Institutional Property Managers' employee coming to the building after-hours must scan in
and out at security desk.

NOTE: In case of a Fire Alarm, all security officers must report to the security desk
immediately except Loading Dock officer.

NOTE: Duties are subject to changes by site supervisor, Barton Security and/or Building
Management.

NOTE: You should be reporting for duty 5 minutes prior to start your shift to receive a
passdown, review logs, etc.

NOTE: All security officers, if they have to leave before the end of their shift, they must notify
the supervisor and log-it on his report.

NOTE: Any schedule changes must be approved by the account manager prior to the change.

NOTE: Any employees from the management office (office, maintenance or engineering) that
are coming to the building must sing in and out after normal working hours, weekend and
holidays. Anyone that is schedule to work, either weekend or holiday, must sing in and out
every time they leave the building and security officer must log it on their log sheet.
