- The document describes plans for the front cover and contents pages of a music magazine centered around the band Enginevein. - For the cover, a model will hold pieces of an electric guitar that has had its neck removed, wearing the guitar and dark clothes, in a field with scattered guitar parts for backdrop. - Inside contents will include news, features, gig listings, and regular columns, with photos of the band Enginevein standing by a steel container, and the cover model holding guitar pieces. - A double page spread interview will question the frontman of Enginevein about the band's future and rumored name change.

2. For my front cover image, I will purchase an electric guitar and remove the
neck from the body of the guitar. I will ask my model to hold a section of the
guitar in each hand and I will wear the guitar in order to make it look used
and battered. My cover model will be wearing a mask and also be wearing
dark clothes. The photo will be taken at night therefore I will use lamps to
brighten the foreground of the image and I will try to use a small amount of
natural light therefore I wont have to use too many lamps. The photo will be
taken in a field however not much of the background will be visible.
However, from the background there will be an array of various guitar parts
and accessories scattered to directly show that the magazine is a music
magazine.

3. The coverlines for my magazine will include:

4. My contents page will feature the words ‘Shred! The Content’ at the top of
the page. There will be the list of content spread into categories which will

5. For my contents page I will feature two images of Enginevein; one will be the
full band and one just the front man. My images will both be taken in the day
against a steel container. I will have the front man of the band stood holding a
microphone in his hands and holding them like a prayer. He will be wearing a
light T-shirt and a backwards snap back looking at the camera. The image of
the band will be a full band photo, with the guitarist holding the guitar so the
neck is pointing at the camera, I will take the photo down the neck of the
guitar.
Other images for my magazine contents page will include, another picture of
my cover model, holding the two pieces of the guitar but facing away from the
camera with this head turned to look over his shoulder. The picture will be
again taken at night.

6. For my double page spread, I will conduct an interview with the band
Enginevein. I will produce my DPS with the questions I ask in bold and then
the response underneath it. The text will be on the right hand page and there
will be a picture of the front man on the left hand page, because I will be
interviewing him. The interview will be about the future of the band and
answering questions about the supposed name change that is upcoming. I will
only be interviewing the front man of the band, Liam, because it is a simpler
way to conduct an interview to not get mixed answers.

7. My main cover photo on my DPS will be the band I am interviewing for the
issue. The photo will be of the front man of the band screaming into a
microphone. The picture will be a medium shot taken from a slightly low
angle to show a sense of power from the cover star. The photo will be taken
outside (weather permitting) therefore there will be fairly hi-key light.
There will be a grey background to the image. I will be using a microphone
because it will immediately indicate that it is a music magazine and the fact
that the cover star is screaming into it will show the genre of the magazine.
No makeup will be used and the cover star will be wearing a snapback
Other images on my DPS will include an image of the full band. This photo
will be the band holding their respective instruments. The guitarist will be
pointing the head of the guitar at the camera and the photo will be taken
looking along the neck of the guitar.
