This document outlines patterns for agile testers to help improve user story quality and testing in sprints. The patterns include having testers participate in writing user stories, breaking stories into testable tasks during planning sessions, having testers lead planning by providing test ideas first, visualizing tests and tasks on a board without distinguishing developer from tester work, focusing tests on simple automated tests per the test pyramid, and removing role labels from task tracking. The goal is for testers to contribute more to story quality from the start and for the team to work together on tasks based on business value rather than job roles.
