For my research I looked at a few different
album covers for indie/rock bands, including
The Foo Fighters albums, ‘Wasting Light’ and
‘One by One’ and The Killers ‘Battle Born’. I
looked at the layout, the image, the colour
scheme and the back of the album. I looked
at Foo Fighters album ‘Wasting Light’, the
colour scheme of the font and the
background matched the conventional colour
scheme of indie/rock bands. The image
usually relates to the album name or just
features the band members. The name of the
band is conventionally on the front of the
album so fans of the band can recognise the
bands album. I looked at the layout to see if it
followed the line of sight, most of the albums I
