Only by the night- kings of Leon cover analysis As you can see the bands name is displayed as cctv or computer font showing that this band may be unpredictable and dangerous and because this band is part of the Indie genre, this cover also reflects how Indie bands are rebellious and creative. The four band members are displayed through parts of the face (top right, top left, bottom left and bottom right) with an eagle in the centre. This may symbolise the bands freedom and ability to create experimental music. The eagle that is in the centre may signify how the band are proud of their American background as they are from Nashville Tennessee

2. Only by the night- kings of Leon back cover analysis On the front there is the eagles head so the back naturally shows the back of the eagle. To add a twist to the album cover the designers have flipped the cover so the track and the band name are horizontal On the back cover the album producers are stated so that all the credit is given to the band and they are acknowledged for producing this album

3. Graduation- Kanye west album cover analysis This sign advises consumers of this product that this artist may use inappropriate language or rap about concepts that are not advisable for children. This also shows that artists of the rap genre sometimes have bad experiences which they may like to rhyme about. On previous albums such as college drop out a teddy bear is used to show Kanye west is in real life, the chain on the bear is used on this album to emphasize his riches and it is a common convention of the R and B genre The college and the hats being thrown up signify Graduation, which is clever as it is the name of the album

4. Graduation-Kanye west Back cover analysis One similarity with the only by the night over is the back cover shows the back of the bear. The bear is flying out of a cannon from college signifying how you and Kanye can eventually graduate at college The top right of the album shows the many producers and featured artists involved so they are given the credit they deserve equally This album follows the common layout that albums use, the tracks of the album are displayed on the front cover and not the front because the artist sells the album as the audience recollect their previous experiences of their music

5. Day and Age-The killers album cover analysis As the albums name is day and age, the designers of the Album created a contrast of the day (the Sun) and age because the bottom of the cover has trees that look prehistoric. This also shows that artists of this genre are creative and experimental in their music and artwork. The bands name “The Killers” is presented in a bright white font against a purple sky making it stand out. The bands name is the biggest title on the front cover because this will sell the album as fans of this band and genre (Indie) will recollect their hit songs and buy this album.

6. Day and Age-The Killers back cover analysis This album has 10 songs and a bonus track and the white font on the purple sky makes them stand out even more. The track list is conventionally on the back in the centre and Day and Age follows the same common layout albums use. Their record label and producers are mentioned at the bottom to give the band that play the music credit and the producers equal credit as well, because the band would not be able to sell the album with out producers and vice versa Through research Into this album, I Found out that this cover And artwork of “Day and Age” obtained the album Of the year 2008 from The Rolling stones.
